Rainy Day Fund

The Rainy Day Fund (RDF) is a Southeast District emergency fund comprised of contributions and donations from the district chapters to assist those chapters who are in need of financial aid, as well as pay new petitioning groups’ initiation fees.

To contribute funds, submit the donation form below with your check made payable to “Tau Beta Sigma.” Make sure your chapter is indicated on the check. 

Donating to the Rainy Day Fund can allow the chapter to be considered for the SHELLS Umbrella Full Participation Certificate and the SHELLS Umbrella Award. Please refer to the District Operations Manual for award guidelines. Your check must be postmarked by February 1st in order to qualify for the award.
